The government of Haryana has invited bids for the establishment of 100 MWp grid connected rooftop (GCRT) solar plants excluding batteries. The bidder should design, install, commission and conduct testing of the solar project. The bidder should also maintain the rooftop solar plants for seven years in several sites in Haryana and Chandigarh. Bids have been invited until October 30, 2026.

The scope of the rooftop solar project involves the provision of solar generation meters and bidirectional meters. All items provided under this agreement should be insured entirely by the vendor at their own expense against all losses/damages suffered in transit to the delivery point.

Upon receiving the consignment at the place of use, the user department or body may make available a storage area for the consignment under lock and key access for the supplier only up to 15 days from date of receipt of goods. It has been assumed that the installations shall be made within 15 days from receipt of consignment.

The offeror needs to include the solar generation meter and bidirectional meter, as well as current transformers (CTs) and potential transformers (PTs), if needed, and install a surge protection device (SPD). Further, the developer will need to ensure compliance with the relevant HERC and DISCOM requirements regarding specifications and classes of accuracy in effect when making such installation.
