Solex Energy, an India-based solar PV module manufacturer, has secured two work orders together with its subsidiary, Solex Green Energy. The orders are worth ₹194.14 crore or $20.05 million.
In total, there were two separate purchase orders made, both for the procurement of the TOPCon bifacial glass-to-glass modules. Solex Green Energy obtained the larger order for the amount of ₹180.98 crore or $18.69 million.
According to Solex, the new purchase orders are likely to increase the total number of orders in the order backlog pipeline for Solex's module manufacturing operations. Manufacturing takes place at Tadkeshwar, Surat, where a factory with a manufacturing capacity of 4 GW was opened.
