Pace Digitek Ltd has bagged a Letter of Intent (LoI) from BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd (BSES) to develop a 57.5 MW/115 MWh standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Delhi.
BSES issued the tender for the project in July this year and awarded the bids within three months. The tender includes the development of a 57.5 MW/115 MWh BESS at four grid substations: Bindapur, with a 15 MW/30 MWh BESS project; Sagarpur-DESU Colony, comprising a 30 MW/60 MWh project; G4, with a 5 MW/10 MWh BESS project; Hari Nagar, with a 7.5 MW/15 MWh BESS project.
The project will be executed under the a 12-year BOOT model, with a capital outlay of around ₹179.4 crore. The deployment process is expected to be completed within seven months.
With this project, Pace Digitek’s utility-scale BOO/BOOT portfolio has reached 3.32 GWh. Under the agreement, the company will receive a fixed capacity tariff of ₹47.05 lakh per MW per year, translating into annual contracted capacity revenue of ₹27.1 crore.
Also, the order adds to the company’s recent BESS wins, including a Rs. 488.6 crore order from NTPC GE Power Services Private Ltd (NGSL) for the supply of standalone BESS, paired with annual maintenance contract (AMC) and warranty services, secured in September 2026.
