Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd (ONGC) has appointed Anupam Agarwal as the company’s Director (Finance) effective June 3.
Agarwal was ONGC Videsh Ltd’s Director (Finance) since 2022 before assuming the new role. He will continue to be Director (Finance) until his superannuation on July 31, 2028, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
With over 35 years of experience in finance and commercial management in the Oil and Gas sector, he is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI). Agarwal is also an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and a Chartered Financial Analyst from ICFAI, Hyderabad. He is B Com and MBA (Finance) from Lucknow University.
The development comes as the company strengthen its leadership team amid investments in upstream, overseas assets and emerging energy opportunities.
