Nayara Energy, a Rosneft-backed petroleum company, has crossed 7,000 petrol pumps across India, marking a significant milestone and leading towards the company’s expansion in non-metro markets and along highways.
As per the company, it has expanded its footprint to 500 outlets in the past 18 months, expanding physical locations rapidly amid the fast-growing demand from increased passenger travel and freight movement.
Around one-third of the outlets are in hinterland areas, strengthening the company’s reach in areas where fuel infrastructure is limited.
The company said, “The network plays a critical role in fuelling India’s everyday mobility.” It added that it aims to ensure assured quality and right quantity of fuel through standardised operations across locations.
The company further claimed that through its established ecosystem, its retail network provides fuel to more than 55,000 livelihoods, highlighting the role of fuel retailing as a critical economic driver by providing stable, accessible jobs to the local community.
