Haridwar-based Luno Solar has launched a major manufacturing expansion at a fresh location in the emerging solar hub, Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh. On 12 October 2026, the company broke ground on its planned Luno Renewable Park in Narmadapuram's Mohasa-Babai Industrial Area. The 45-acre site will integrate solar cell, module, inverter, and battery-storage manufacturing.
Luno Solar is supported by Dr. Vivek Bindra, investor and entrepreneur of Bada Business’s Idea to IPO initiative. The company’s proposed investment in inverter, battery storage, cell and module manufacturing underlines how solar energy’s rise has escalated the individual enterprises to help build out the national clean-energy supply chain.
Luno’s proposed park includes 2.4 GW of solar-module capacity, 1.2 GW of inverter capacity, 2.4 GW of solar-cell capacity using TOPCon technology and 1.2 GW of battery energy storage system capacity.
Furthermore, according to the company, the module line is expected to produce approximately 3,500 modules per day, or 12.6 lakh modules annually, during the first stage. Also, the proposed module facility will operate alongside the cell line and it will provide Luno end-to-end capabilities across two key stages of solar manufacturing.
