Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL) has appointed Ajai Tyagi as Head of Business Development & Corporate Strategy, effective June 1. Before assuming his new role, he was IGL’s Executive Director (Project Expediting).
With a career spanning over three decades, Tyagi has experience in natural gas distribution infrastructure and integrity management. He has also acquired expertise in engineering projects, operations and city gas distribution network maintenance.
Besides, he has cross-functional expertise in planning, business development, techno-commercial, project monitoring & management, marketing penetration, operations & maintenance of gas distribution network, and Health, Safety and Environment (HSE). Tyagi is a BE Electrical from the National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra.
Tyagi’s appointment has come at a time when IGL is focusing on expanding city gas distribution, strengthening its customer base, and improving operational efficiency.
