Vikram Solar has bagged a 400 MW module supply order from an EPC player for decentralised solar projects across Maharashtra. The order will boost its presence in decentralised and reliable renewable energy infrastructure for the agricultural feeder solarisation segment, the company stated.
The contract will be executed by March 2027, with supplies scheduled to commence in October 2026. As per the agreement, the company will supply its N-Type TOPCon G12R modules, featuring glass-to-glass, bifacial technology and half-cut cells, with a capacity of 620 Wp.
Agricultural feeder solarisation will potentially play a key role in the improvement of energy access for farmers while contributing to India’s broader renewable energy and energy security objectives.
With India accelerating its solar deployment, decentralised renewable energy projects are becoming a crucial part of the clean energy transition. By bringing power generation closer to where energy is consumed, these projects enhance overall grid resilience.
