Oswal Pumps Ltd has bagged a ₹273.19 crore order, excluding GST, from the Telangana Renewable Energy Development Corporation Ltd (TGREDCO) for an aggregate capacity of 46,705 kW (46.7 MW).
As per the contract, Oswal pumps will supply, install, design, and commission 2 kW, 5 kW, and 10 kW on-grid solar rooftop PV power plants in government schools across 33 districts of Telangana.
Vivek Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director, Oswal Pumps Limited, said, “This marks our first major order from Telangana and an important milestone in expanding Oswal Pumps’ presence into new markets. Being selected as the successful bidder for a programme of this scale underscores the strength of our technical and execution capabilities.”
According to a statement by the press release, the project will include the deployment of Mono PERC/TOPCon solar modules, paired with remote monitoring systems (RMS), standard mounting structures and comprehensive maintenance for five years.
The project will potentially boost the integration of renewable energy infrastructure in educational institutions in Telangana while supporting the state’s clean energy goals.
The installations are expected to be done within 180 days from the date of receipt of the work order. The total commercial value of the order is nearly ₹297.50 crore, including GST.
