Envision Energy has secured a 660 MWh battery energy storage system order for South Africa's Naos-1 project through an agreement with SOLA Group and WBHO.
According to the agreement, Envision will provide comprehensive technical support across the energy storage system's lifecycle, including design, manufacturing, operation and maintenance.
Furthermore, Envision and SOLA Group have also entered into a 25 year Long Term Service Agreement (LTSA) in order to support the project in the long term.
Under LTSA, Envision will provide operational assistance and maintenance for the battery storage system.
Naos-1 project is located near Viljoenskroon, South Africa. It integrates a 300 MW (435 MWp) solar PV plant with a 660 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS). This project will supply stable, on-demand green power to industrial giants.
