Alpex Solar Ltd announced the inauguration of its ambitious 2.2 GW G12R TOPCon PV solar cell manufacturing facility at Kosi Kotwan Industrial Area, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh.
The company’s 2.2 GW G12R TOPCon solar cell manufacturing facility not only marks a significant milestone in the company’s backwards-integration strategy but also strengthens the state’s position as an emerging hub for renewable energy manufacturing.

According to Sehgal, the inauguration reinforces Alpex Solar’s commitment to expanding its manufacturing footprint and investing in advanced technologies as India accelerates its transition towards renewable energy.
Alpex’s new facility is the first integrated TOPCon giga manufacturing line in Uttar Pradesh, representing a major addition to the state’s advanced solar manufacturing capabilities. The plant will manufacture G12R TOPCon solar cells, a next-generation technology designed to deliver higher efficiency and power output and support the evolving requirements of the solar PV industry, he added.
