KPI Green Energy Ltd has secured a work order from NACOF Oorja Private Ltd (NOPL) for a 500 MW AC / 550 MWp turnkey Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) solar power project in Rajasthan.
According to a statement by the company, the project comes under the 5,000 MW Solar Photovoltaic Power Park being developed by NOPL at Village Dantoor, Tehsil Khajuwala, Bikaner district, Rajasthan. KPI Green will be responsible for the EPC works within 12 months from the handover of the project site up to commissioning. Also, the ₹2,025 crore order is for a 500 MW solar project, the company added.
The order has come amid KPI Green securing a 500 MW Balance of System (BoS) package for a grid-connected solar project in Bikaner, Rajasthan from NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd (NTPC REL), a subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Ltd,
NTPC REL issued a Notifications of Award (NOA) for KPI Green for the development of the project across two blocks of 300 MW and 200 MW. The combined value is ₹621 crore, excluding GST, including ₹254 crore for the 200 MW block and ₹367 crore for the 300 MW block
