GAIL (India) Ltd on Friday said that it has appointed Manoj Kumar Sharma as an Additional Director (Projects) of the Maharatna. He will remain in office until April 30, 2031, further orders from the date of his assuming of duties, or whichever is earlier.
Sharma was Indian Oil’s Executive Director and Regional Head of Eastern Region Pipelines and had acquired a leadership role in operations, maintenance, construction and CGD businesses across five states. He also looked after a pipeline over 5,700 km.
With an experience of over three decades in the oil and gas sector, he holds a Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Production & Industrial Engineering) from Delhi College of Engineering and a PG Diploma in Business Management from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar.
